Recipe for Kenwood by Claire Turnbull

Made with the Triblade puree / masher
Serves 4


  • 1 medium sized potato, peeled
  • 4 cups of frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • Seasoning
  • Optional: Splash of milk


  1. Slice the potato into 1cm thick pieces, bring to the boil in a pan of water, boil for 5 minutes or until potato is tender
  2. Add the peas and mint to the pan and cook for 5 minutes
  3. Drain the potato, peas and mint then add back to the pan
  4. Add a splash of milk and lemon Zest
  5. ‘Smash’ the peas by using the Puree / Mash attachment from the Kenwood Triblade to the consistency you like
  6. Serve with pan fried fish
