Method

  1. Put the egg into the measuring cup or jug and add sufficient water to give:
    300ml liquid for load size 1kg
    375ml liquid for loaf size 1.5kg
  2. Add the chocolate when the machine makes an audible sound after approx  20 minutes during the kneading cycle

Tip
tsp = 5ml Teaspoon
tbsp = 15ml Tablespoon

Unbleached white bread flour 600g 750g
Cocoa powder 4 tsp 5 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp 2 tsp
Caster sugar 50g 60g
Butter 25g 30g
Easy blend yeast 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
Plain Continental style (70% cocoa) chocolate, coarsely chopped or use plain chocolate chips. 100g 110g

Unbleached white bread flour 600g or 750g
Cocoa powder 4 tsp or 5 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp or 2 tsp
Caster sugar 50g or 60g
Butter 25g or 30g
Easy blend yeast 1/2 tsp
Plain Continental style (70% cocoa) chocolate, coarsely chopped or use plain chocolate chips 100g or 110g
