Sun-Dried Tomato Bread

Method

  1. Add the sun-dried tomatoes when the machine makes an audible sound during the 2nd kneading cycle: see menu timetables on page 44-48 (BM260) and page 49-53 (BM366).

Tip
tsp = 5ml teaspoon 
tbsp = 15ml tablespoon

Ingredients

For 1kg loaf 
375ml water 
1 1/2tsp  olive oil or oil from bottled sun dried tomatoes  
40g finely grated parmesan cheese 
2tsp salt 
1tbsp sugar 
525g unbleached white bread flour 
75g wholemeal bread flour 
1 1/2tsp easy blend dried yeast  
40g well drained sun dried tomatoes

For 750g loaf 
300ml water  
1tbsp olive oil or oil from bottled sun dried tomatoes  
25g finely grated parmesan cheese 
1 1/2tsp salt  
2tsp sugar    
400g unbleached white bread flour  
50g wholemeal bread flour 
1 1/2tsp easy blend dried yeast  
25g well drained sun dried tomatoes 

For 500g loaf 
230ml water 
2tsp olive oil or oil from bottled sun dried tomatoes   
15g finely grated parmesan cheese  
1tsp salt  
1 1/2tsp sugar  
300g unbleached white bread flour   
50g wholemeal bread flour  
1tsp easy blend dried yeast  
25g well drained sun dried tomatoes
