Morning Bread

Ingredients

Bread:

  • 300g Bread flour
  • 30g Milk poweder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 30g Sugar
  • 135g Luke warm water
  • 2 tsp fast yeast
  • 1 Egg yolk


Flavouring v1:

  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 50g Sultans
  • 2 Tbsp Brown sugar 

Flavouring v2:

  • 50g Grated dark chocolate
  • 30g Pistachio nuts
  • 30g Icing sugar

  1. Place all bread ingredients into the bowl and mix
  2. Leave the dough to rest - 45mins
  3. Dust your work surface with the flour
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle (about)
  5. Sprinkle your desired flavouring onto the dough
  6. Roll it up like a sausage
  7. Place onto a baking tray
  8. Place a tea towl over the top and leave to rise - 45mins
  9. Place on top of a baking tray
  10. Place into a preheated oven - 180c
